My name is Isabelle Thibout. I am originally from a village in France, named Crespieres, located about 45 minutes southwest from Paris. I have been living in Calgary for almost four years. I hold two Master's Degrees, one in Agriculture Engineering and the other in Management with a Marketing for Product Manager specialisation. I currently work within the Marketing Communication team of Corteva Agriscience, the agriculture division of DowDuPont, as a Solutions Center Specialist. I took this position three months ago after three and a half years of agronomy and sales experience in ag retail.
I am working towards becoming a Marketing Product Manager. Thanks to the AdvancingAg program, I would like to gain agricultural marketing knowledge by learning from an experienced individual. My aim is to create a complete marketing plan on a product or communication project my mentor is familiar with, or would like support with. I would like to put an emphasis on brand and product strategies, market and competitors differentiation, value creation and marketing campaign, keeping in mind the appropriate key performance indicators.
In my spare time, I enjoy exercising by doing aerial yoga, rock-climbing and running. I also like spending time outside gardening, hiking and horseback riding. I value gathering with my friends or staying home with my cat Koala. Finally, I have a desire to learn and I am often working on new certifications to further my knowledge."
